CREATIVE DIRECTOR - KERATIN COMPLEX
Are you a visionary Creative Director with a passion for beauty brands and storytelling? We’re on the lookout for an exceptional individual to inspire, lead, and propel the creative direction for our collective of beauty brands. As the Creative Director, you’ll play a key role in defining and executing on-brand digital and print creative solutions that seamlessly align with brand strategy and resonate across multiple channels of distribution.
This position requires a blend of high-level creativity, strategic vision, and executional expertise. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, a natural problem solver, and an inspiring visual storyteller. You should have a strong design sensibility, the ability to lead with clarity, and a proven history of managing and mentoring a creative team to foster collaboration and innovation.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Boca Raton, Florida.
What You’ll Do
- Creative Concepting: Lead the ideation and creation of digital and print collateral to support seasonal campaigns, new product launches, trade shows, social assets, and more.
- Content Development: Produce engaging and on-brand content tailored for BTB and B2C sales channels.
- Digital Storytelling: Oversee the creative direction for digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency across in-house and partner e-commerce sites, including UX/UI considerations.
- Merchandising & Sales Assets: Develop sales-driven merchandising materials for in-store activations, point-of-sale displays, and promotional campaigns that enhance conversion rates.
- Packaging Design: Oversee packaging concepts to ensure visual impact and alignment with the brand’s premium positioning.
- Vendor Collaboration: Partner with external vendors and agencies, providing creative direction and feedback to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Project Workflow Management: Manage the creative department's workflow, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest standard.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team, including a Senior Designer, freelancers, and vendor partners, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing).
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in creative leadership, preferably within the beauty, lifestyle, or fashion industries.
- Understanding of video production, including motion graphics and animation.
- Experience in retail and e-commerce creative development, including understanding consumer journeys and digital conversion strategies.
- Experience in packaging design, from concept through production.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who thrives on collaboration across departments.
- Hands-on skills with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
- Flexibility and adaptability to pivot with changing priorities and timelines.
- Equally comfortable overseeing high-level creative strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute when needed.
