Job Title: Clinical Design Analyst Job Overview: WK Health IT is seeking a Clinical Design Analyst to join our team, assisting in optimizing our clinical systems and ensuring they align with our operational needs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with both clinical and IT staff, able to work independently, comfortable with computer systems and clinical workflows, and open to learning new skills. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clinical staff and stakeholders to develop, build, test, and deploy standard and custom content for MEDITECH Expanse clinical applications that meet operational needs, compliance and regulatory requirements, and best practice guidelines. Design workflows for clinical operations that meets clinical leadership needs, compliance and regulatory requirements, and best practice guidelines. Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical processes, providing guidance on system functionalities and best practices. Support end users (providers, nurses, administrators, etc.) through IT ticketing system and IT service management, to include on call time rotated with other members of the clinical analyst team. Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation of upgrades and enhancements, to include availability after hours for deployment of system patching. Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance. Provide second tier support for health system when Help Desk unable to assist end users. Other responsibilities as delegated by the Clinical Systems Analyst Manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred) or a related field; or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of clinical experience as a nurse (preferred) or experience in MEDITECH Expanse build and support. Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare operations with an emphasis on understanding the workflows and operations within assigned service lines. Understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communicator with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, and efficient time management habits. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Certification in relevant clinical systems or EMR platforms is a plus.
