Gather, process, analyze, reconcile and enter SSTD systems engineering data and fleet modernization data in support of Ship Alteration Systems, Temporary Alteration Records, Engineering Change Orders, Engineering Change Proposals, Navy Training System Plans and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals. Collaborate with other team members in the development, production and distribution of SSTD documentation materials within GDIT and to various government customers. EducationAssociates Degree in any field with 3+ years of professional experience in technical writing (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree)Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience working with technical personnel developing and publishing technical materials Experience developing and publishing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) using SGML applications such as Arbortext or MadCap Flare Background supporting Configuration Management Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software applications Previous US Navy ASW background preferred, but not required Secret clearance or eligible to obtain Must be a US Citizen GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: 401K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely hourly rate for this position is between $30.64 - $41.46. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
