Bradley Caldwell Inc, (BCI) is looking for an ENTRY LEVEL Marketing Coordinator to join their Marketing Department. The Marketing Department has dual roles in producing the company's advertising and event production.

This person will work on a small team that is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of company events including 2 annual trade shows with 200+ booths, 2 sales meetings and several events at our training center and/or main office. This person will be responsible for the company's social media and company newsletter. This person will contribute to the company's print and digital marketing.

EVENTS: BCI plans several small-medium meetings throughout the year and 2 large trade shows. These are private B2B events, employee trainings and customer events. As the event host, we are responsible for end-to-end event planning. The Marketing Coordinator role includes but is not limited to:

Creating and Proofing Rooming Lists, Banquet Orders, AV Requirements, Drayage Requirements

Processing Registrations - Attendee and manufacturer

Developing Event design, decorations, floor plans, and entertainment

Coordinating ordering portals and event software

Coordinating customer shipments for ordering materials

Creating and Formatting spreadsheets and other event materials

Communicating event information and addressing questions in a timely manner

BCI has a corporate training center that hosts training sessions. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and providing all meeting needs for these small events. This includes but is not limited to reserving the space, room layout, AV and small-scale food and beverage.

MARKETING: BCI marketing covers various platforms including print, digital and social media. Projects include but are not limited to Catalogs, Magazines, Email Marketing, Promotional sheets and flyers, social media, and our company Newsletter. The Marketing Coordinator role includes but is not limited to:

Proofing content before it is published

Providing information and support to our Graphic Designers

Collaborating with other departments

Quoting and securing external services such as print shops, promotional items, software, etc.

Submitting billing information

Creating marketing materials using Microsoft Office (Adobe Suite also preferred)

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to coordinate multi-department tasks. This includes communicating timeline tasks to multiple departments, following up on tasks and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Must collaborate and work well with others.

Excellent communication skills including phone, email, online and in person.

Must be creative and able to develop unique event experiences

Must be willing to complete many different tasks and multitask

Able to adapt to new ideas, projects, and technologies

Must be able to follow SOPs and troubleshoot issues that are not outlined

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School degree required

Must have at least 2 years' experience in an office environment

Experience in marketing or events preferred

SOFTWARE:

Excellent Microsoft Office Skills are required, emphasis on Excel. This position will use it daily.

Experience with Adobe Suites and Canva preferred

Experience in Outlook, Teams and Windows preferred

Experience with social media platforms

On-the-job training will be provided for BCI developed programs and our website. Candidate must be able to understand and troubleshoot these programs.

JOB TYPE:

Full-time Entry Level - Hourly Position

REGULAR SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 430PM

Must be present in the office. Located in Hazleton, PA

Limited overtime and weekend work rarely required outside of scheduled events.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Overnight Visits are required.

Approximately 4-6 times per year.

Currently we are traveling to Atlantic City, Wilkes Barre, and Mount Pocono for events. This is subject to change.

Overtime and weekend work required when executing events. Approximately 4-6 times per year.

Occasionally must be available 1-2 hours on Sundays to run reports remotely. Approximately 12 times per year.
