Island Dream Productions is hiring: Boat and Underwater Photographer in Maui

Salary: $15 - $100+ per hour

Were looking for creative, sales-driven, and customer-focused photographers to join our team! In this role, youll work on boats with chartered tours, capturing stunning moments both above and below the water. Youll sell and provide edited, personalized photo packages, allowing each customer to walk away with a unique collection that perfectly captures their Maui moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality portraits of guests both on the boat and underwater using provided professional Canon equipment.
• Edit photos in Lightroom and organize them by group to create personalized packages.
• Sell personalized photo packages to groups, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
• Upload and send out edited photos to customers within 48 hours of the end of the boat charter.
• Care for and maintain all photography equipment provided in the gear suitcases, including conducting inventory checks and making occasional trips to the storage unit or inventory box for supplies as needed.

Requirements:

• MacBook Pro, 2020 or newer.
• Lightroom Classic Subscription ($10/month)
• External Hard-drive
• Wi-Fi
• Reliable transportation to work either at Kaanapali Beach or Maalaea Harbor
• Strong swimming skills
• Must currently reside on Maui

Youll Stand Out If:

• You have previous photography experience
• You have sales experience
• Youre proficient in Lightroom
• You have experience working on boats

Work Environment:

• Part-Time, with opportunities to transition to Full-Time based on performance.

Compensation:

• Commission-based
