A Day in the Office Looks Like This:
This position offers the opportunity for training and development leading to a future career path with the firm. The Junior Interior Designer works simultaneously on a variety of projects supporting the Interior Design Studio staff in the daily operations and individual design teams throughout all phases of projects.
Performs assignments under the direction of the Studio Manager, including but not limited to project administration, schematic design, design development, and contract document administration Develops and manages project schedules and budgets with responsibility to keep project on schedule and manage additional services Executes computer production of preliminary plans and coordinates finish plans, specifications, materials selections, and redlines Prepares client presentations and participates in client and contractor meetings Collaborates with contractors and vendors to select furniture, materials, and other interior products to satisfy the client's design requirements Coordinates and determines all FF&E issues, including budgeting, resourcing, specifications, proposals, orders, tracking, and delivery of items Maintains physical and digital resources, including organization, updating, and maintaining inventory of finish library as well as product representative contact information Applies established interior design standards Do You Have the Skills and Experience? Work Environment
Indoor office environment. Normal work hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 AM Central Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch. There may be a need to work outside of normal work hours or weekends to meet project deadlines. Some local travel is required. There may be an occasion that requires overnight travel.
Physical Demands
work performed requires the ability to lift as much as 25 pounds, sit, stand, walk, operate a keyboard, and communicate clearly and effectively on the phone, in-person, and via written communication.

Must be authorized to work in the US when an offer of employment is accepted. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment verification form (Form I-9) upon hire.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required Licensure not required but preferred, even if in process Mid-level position for 3-6 years of professional experience Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite of products Exposure or experience with Sketch-Up and Studio Designer Proficient with technical detailing Strong sketch capabilities
