Summary The Digital Marketing Strategy Analyst primarily supports the Email and Mobile Marketing team within our Customer Marketing organization. The Analyst develops effective digital target lists for all email & push marketing campaigns, reports campaign and program analytics, and maintains and improves our marketing databases. Digital targeting and segmentation efforts support internal initiatives, Member, and vendor programs by leveraging various forms of consumer data (i.e. purchase behavior, etc). The Analyst works with direct team and cross-functional stakeholders to build appropriate campaign targeting design. The Analyst is also responsible for assisting with Email, Mobile and Social Media Listening analytics, and supports the needs of team projects when needed (i.e. including but not limited to marketing automation development). Essential Functions Responsible for all email/push targeting & query building (30 weekly targets) for 6 Banners (ShopRite, The Fresh Grocer, Price Rite Marketplace, Fairway, Gourmet Garage, Dearborn Markets), Shopper Marketing Division and membership. Review targeting requests and make suggestions/modifications based on historical performance of campaigns Maintain the email and push databases used by the Email and Mobile Marketing team Integrate various existing customer data tables to enhance profile data Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis Monitor customer profile data and bounce rates within email targeting system Develop measurement plans and KPI reporting Create ad hoc analysis for stakeholders Conduct comprehensive social media listening and monitoring across multiple platforms to gather insights on brand sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activity, leveraging social management software. Analyze media data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), track brand health, and report on campaign effectiveness. Develop and present regular reports with actionable insights to stakeholders, highlighting trends, sentiment analysis, and areas of opportunity. Qualifications 4 year College degree required At least 2 years of experience building and managing email targets and email database management Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication, research and analysis skills required Experience with data analysis, quantitative and logical problem solving skills Shopper analytics data experience System knowledge of reporting internal systems (PPI, Legacy, CRM Data, Access, Excel, QMF, SAS) Intermediate familiarity of programing languages (SAS & SQL/Python) Experience with Social Listening Data and Queries a plus Full understanding of all consumer data warehouses content (data and table structure) along with relational database skills a plus Experience and/or coursework in managing, manipulating, storing, and parsing data Exceptional verbal and written communications skills Experience or ability to develop presentations for management teams as needed Intermediate familiarity with Alteryx, a plus Adheres to project plans and deadlines May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary Working Conditions & Physical Demands Ability to monitor computer screens for long periods of time Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with a current requirement of 4 days in person, as established by the division. Ability to flex hybrid schedule to attend important meetings and vendor or store visits based on business needs
