Hi-ARTS is currently accepting applications for a Residency Videographer for Reynaldo Piniella. This temporary position will support Hi-ARTS' CRITICAL BREAKS Artist Reynaldo Piniella during his 2024 Fall Residency. This is an onsite in-person position taking place at El Barrio's Artspace PS 109 in East Harlem (home of Hi-ARTS).

CRITICAL BREAKS is a residency program for artists who are in a pivotal phase of developing new theater and/or performance work. This process-centered program is designed to support the needs of the artist and best support the trajectory of their project.

Ideal candidates will have experience in filming live theater.

Mandatory On-Site Date
12/5 6-10pm

Commitment: approximately 6 hours

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Capture footage of public performance as determined by discussion with the lead artist.
  2. Deliver color corrected footage to artist in residence within 14 days from shoot date.

About Reynaldo Piniella

Reynaldo Piniella (he/him) is an actor, writer, activist, and educator from East New York, Brooklyn. He has been involved in various significant theater productions and has a rich history in the arts.
