This is a Full Time position in the field of Commercial, Corporate, & Pro Video Production, located in Irvine, CA.

Job Expectations:

  1. Lead Video Production: Act as lead videographer for diverse content, including quarterly town halls, product spotlights, blog educational content, HR training, social media videos, and branded commercials.
  2. Collaborate Across Departments: Work with HR, Marketing, iHerb Brands, and Communications to produce content tailored to the team’s various needs.
  3. Film High-Quality Videos: Utilize professional equipment (cameras, lighting, sound) to film high-quality videos in our studio or on location.
  4. Video Editing: Edit footage using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro, as well as After Effects software, to create engaging and polished videos.
  5. Motion Graphics: Use editing software to create small animated video content with on-screen graphics.
  6. Studio Management: Establish and maintain video studios at each of iHerb’s locations, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  7. Coordination: Coordinate video recording schedules and plans with staff and stakeholders.
  8. Stay Updated: Keep up with current commercial and social media video-creation trends & practices.
  9. Brainstorm and Develop: Create creative video concepts, including research and storyboarding, planning, propping, and executing projects solo or as a team.
  10. Organization: Upload and organize finalized projects to the website, DAM, and ensure proper delivery per assignment requirements.

Experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Strong portfolio showcasing creative and engaging video work.
  2. Excellent videography skills, including camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
  3. Proficient video editing skills using industry-standard software.
  4. A keen eye for detail and passion for creating high-quality visual content.
  5. Strong creativity, video creation, storytelling, and editing skills.
  6. Knows how to make subjects comfortable in front of the camera.
  7. Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task.
  8. Must be willing to travel for video shoots across the U.S.
  9. Understanding the difference between Commercial, Social Media, and Interview video content and when to apply proper techniques.

Equipment Knowledge:

  1. Thorough knowledge of current video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects).
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  3. Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred.
  4. DSLR cameras (Sony and Canon), Gimbals, Drones, GoPro, and other related hardware.
  5. Studio and location lighting experience with continuous lighting.

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience with video filming and editing.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in broadcasting, film, or a related field preferred.
