Position: Content Producer
Reports to: Director, Social Media and Content
Locations: Andretti Global’s Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana or Remote with access to an office in Banbury, UK (Hybrid)
Background:
Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the Andretti Global team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA, and Formula E; and has collaborations in Extreme E as Andretti Altawkilat Extreme E and Australian Supercars as Walkinshaw Andretti United. The global racing enterprise boasts over 280 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000, and one USF2000 championship, a Silver Class GT4 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race.
Purpose of the Role:
As the Content Producer, you will serve as a creative leader in charge of creating content (videography & photography) that helps showcase our team, drivers, and partners at track and all over the world. You’ll be creating, capturing, and editing a wide variety of short-form content and photography that will help share our story with the world.
Role Dimension:
Travel to both domestic and international race and team events will be required. You'll be reporting to the Director, Social Media and Content but need to build strong relationships with people across both the wider Competition and Commercial teams. There will be some flexibility with working hours and travel required to fulfill this role effectively.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary, in-house photographer and videographer for our Formula E team, with support on other Andretti Global teams as needed.
- Responsible for all photo and video content from start to finish including ideation, capturing of content, and editing for the needs of various social and web-based outputs.
- Responsible for capturing high-quality content showcasing our Formula E and other Andretti Global teams in creative, candid, and professional environments.
- Curate a strong gallery of photo and video content that will be used to reflect the brand through social media channels and marketing efforts.
- Work alongside the wider content team to play a key role in shaping the visual storyline of content touchpoints while maintaining the brand’s digital asset library.
- Assist the marketing and press team with daily asset management and obtaining all creative and marketing objectives.
- Use various media including graphics, animations, data visualization, music, and voiceovers to create professional-grade content.
- Coordinate all activities and materials supporting each video shoot project.
- Coordinate with third-party content vendors regarding larger brand and partner production needs and liaise to manage consistency across content pieces and brand pillars.
- Stay up to date on video, photography, and social media trends to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of content.
- Participate in communications meetings and planning.
- Understand project briefs and work with team members to deliver to the requirements of the job; including timelines, budgets, and formats of design projects.
- Have an eye for creating continuity across multiple touchpoints.
- Understand brand guidelines to communicate how the brand shows up internally and externally and direct these guidelines through well-articulated communication materials.
- Collaborate with marketing, communication, sales, and production teams to inform creative from strategy through implementation.
- Have a passion for digital media and a broad understanding of the digital marketing space.
- Meet deadlines and manage workload without supervision.

- Serve as an advocate, both internally and with sponsors, for how content can be leveraged to support objectives.
- Develop and implement regular content plans.
- Capture, produce, and edit short-form content.
- Stay atop of current content and technology trends and proactively advise their impact on the business.
Education and Experience:
- Three (3) years of related experience in agency, motorsport, or equivalent in a fast-paced role focused on brand and sponsor asset creation.
- Proficient in video editing and familiar with photography.
- Ability to remain organized and adaptable in high-pressure situations, switching from photography to videography in an instant. Storing assets for publishing effectively.
- Idea creation, capturing, and execution while trackside and in the race shop.
- A general passion and interest in film, videography, and photography.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver content that meets brand standards and guidelines.
- Expert computer skills including Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Office suite of software; and familiarity with document retention and project management software.
- Demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactiveness, and ownership, embracing both big-picture objectives and following through on details.
- Proven ability to solve practical problems and make timely decisions by analyzing a variety of variables against desired outcomes.
- High degree of integrity and the ability to operate with discretion, confidentiality, and poise under pressure.
