Overview
We are seeking a skilled and strategic but unconventional Marketer/Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ideating, briefing, strategizing & inputting ad campaigns on Meta/Instagram, TikTok, Google, Pinterest & new/emerging channels as they become relevant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends within streetwear, jewelry, men's fashion, nostalgia, and an interest in understanding the analytics and performance behind different marketing campaigns. Hybrid in person/WFH with a minimum of 3 days in the studio at our creative studio located in downtown Detroit.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive media buying strategies aligned with marketing goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences and effective advertising channels.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with media vendors to secure optimal placements.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media buying and advertising sales.
  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance and present findings to stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Meta/Instagram Ads, Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Ability to assess what makes a good ad vs. a bad ad.
  • Prior experience in Motion, TripleWhale, or similar performance measuring platforms.
  • Experience in media planning and executing successful advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of performance marketing techniques and metrics for measuring success.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies to identify consumer behavior patterns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
