We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide financial partnership towards driving growth of the existing business as well as development of new products and strategies.

Key job responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain reporting for Small and Medium Business Advertising performance, define and track goals for product leadership, and partner with the business on deep dives and high impact growth strategies.
2. Analyze data, trends and variances, anticipate business requirements, and build insights for the business.
3. Build in-depth analysis on advertiser performance and raise opportunities and risks with leadership through routine forums.
4. Partner with cross functional finance teams and own monthly and weekly financial and operational performance metrics for your business e.g. Weekly/Monthly Business Reviews.

A day in the life:
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will closely work with business and finance leaders to develop financial models for both short and long term business and financial goals, evaluate new business opportunities, and drive business initiatives for SMB ADSP ad products. This role works across multiple teams in Amazon towards growing SMB Advertising worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
