A law firm is seeking an Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner.

Job Overview:

The Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner will provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media. They will safeguard clients' business interests and brand elements throughout all stages of a campaign, from concept to implementation, and lead litigation when necessary. Additionally, the Partner will play an active role in business development initiatives to expand the firm's advertising, marketing, and promotions practice.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements in all aspects of a campaign’s life cycle
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims in court and before NAD
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
• Actively participate in business development initiatives

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law
• Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Ability to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment

Education & Certifications:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
