Acquisition Manager - Anchor (Supply Chain Finance)
Role – Manager – Anchor Relationships
Experience – 5+ years
Qualification – CA / MBA-finance or equivalent
Product Exposure – SME / Working Capital / Supply Chain Finance
Key Job Responsibilities
- Acquire and onboard new corporates (Anchors) for vendor finance/channel finance.
- Frame sales strategies to acquire new anchors – incorporating digital marketing, relationship marketing, and cold calling techniques.
- Manage relationships with existing Anchors under portfolio, maintaining relationships with key officials to ensure smooth running of programs and implementation of new programs.
- Structure SCF product offerings as per requirements of corporate and develop new business models.
- Facilitate SCF sales team in converting leads provided by Anchor Corporates.
- Set up distribution network and build a demand funnel in line with organizational strategy, including preparation and implementation of channel development. Implement robust due diligence mechanisms for background verification of channel partners before empanelment.
- Engage with established/potential channel partners to negotiate terms of engagement and monitor/control to ensure regular business flow.
- Achieve budgeted Balance Sheet and P&L numbers including AUM, Fee Income, and Cross Sell Revenue with due control over cost to income ratio.
Other Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the Supply Chain Finance and Fintech landscape.
- Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
- Maintain portfolio quality and composition in line with policy.
- Ensure compliance/audit/quality and other functions for the portfolio of the region.
Key Skills Requirement – Must Have:
- In-depth product knowledge of Working Capital Finance and Trade Finance. Sound knowledge of the business lending ecosystem in a fintech environment.
- CA/Post Graduate in Management or similar relevant qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Supply Chain Finance domain.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail.
