Reporting to the Manager of Production Design, the Production Specialist (contractor) will be responsible for managing creative assets developed for a large rebrand project and maintain ***'s online asset ordering storefront. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the design team with some creative production and converting collateral into orderable products. This position requires a candidate who can analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with little supervision in a fast-paced, on-demand environment. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and must be committed to delivering high-quality solutions within agreed-upon timelines.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain graphic design standards and procedures and subsequently ensure that the team and organization adhere to a high level of excellence.
  • Assist vendors, development teams, or the business when appropriate.
  • Create templates using a templating software for print production and web use per client specifications
  • Test end products for functionality
  • Maintain pricing schemes, workflows, and properties (keywords, custom thumbnails, etc.) for MediaWorks assets
  • Assist Production Manager with maintaining landing pages and the overall structure of MediaWorks platform
  • Maintain file organization and naming conventions
  • Effectively manage databases, metadata, and project timelines
  • Occasional production design
  • Support MediaWorks platform maintenance and development
  • Assist Production Manager with creating and maintaining training materials to support MediaWorks admins and end-users

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate, or equivalent experience, with 1-3 years of graphic design experience.
  • Portfolio required
  • 0-2 years ad agency account service or client-side advertising management experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of InDesign preferred
  • Some knowledge of Workfront or equivalent project management software
  • Strong organization and communication skills a must
  • Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Some knowledge of Excel preferred (including formulas and standard data sorting and filtering)
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to analyze data
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Technology experience preferred
  • Self-starter, ability to work without direct supervision
  • Must be thoroughly computer literate and able to learn new software quickly
