Term Instructor of Management/Communication

The Department of Management, Marketing, Logistics, & Business Analytics at the University of Alaska Anchorage seeks to hire a non-tenure-track Instructor of Management/Communication, with a start date of August 2025. Candidates must hold a graduate degree in Management, Business Communications, or a closely-related discipline. The successful candidate is expected to teach in-person and online undergraduate courses in management (such as Managerial Communications and Business Foundations) to a diverse student body.
As a Term Instructor of Management/Communications in the College of Business & Public Policy, you will teach courses such as Managerial Communications and Business Foundations, provide mentorship to undergraduate students, and serve on university committees.

- Demonstrated or potential for successful teaching on topics of managerial communications and business foundations.
- Strong technical skills and ability to effectively deliver distance education.
- Ability to represent the department in the university/community.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Management, Business Communications, or a related field (e.g., business communications) at the time of initial appointment. Ph.D. or DBA in Management, Business Communications, or a closely related discipline preferred.
Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a full-time, 9-month, term-funded, non-tenure track faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and a full employee benefits package. Faculty salaries are based on a variety of factors, including education and experience.
