The Communication Disorders Program at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track, assistant professor faculty position (speech-language pathology). Summer teaching may be available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching 12 hours of undergraduate/graduate courses per semester, including clinical (teaching) supervision.
  • Mentoring undergraduate and graduate research.
  • Discipline-based scholarship.
  • University/discipline service.

Candidate must possess a doctorate degree in communication disorders and/or sciences, or another advanced degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D). Preferred expertise with adult neurogenic cognitive linguistics communication disorders and/or voice and swallowing disorders; however, the position is open for all areas of emphasis for exceptional candidates.

Candidates must also possess experience instructing and mentoring student clinicians, experience teaching at the university level, and experience building and sustaining a clinical caseload.
