Overview

Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, The Business of Fashion is seeking a strategist to join its Content Strategy team. Working across every element of BoF, the content strategy team drives the creative concepts and execution of a variety of commercial partnerships, editorial franchises, and global events.

The team is also responsible for overseeing how content is shared through company subscriptions, presenting BoF content to leading fashion, luxury, and beauty brands and retailers.

What we need you to do:

The Content Strategist role is one of the most varied in the BoF business, spanning written work, live presentations, content creation, commercial meetings with clients, and developing content strategies to achieve business goals.

The successful candidate will play a significant role in:

  1. Ideating and executing content partnerships across written, video, and live events.
  2. Writing long-form articles and reports for BoF partners, to an editorial standard.
  3. Curating and presenting content for the BoF Professional community.
  4. Regularly interviewing and meeting with CEOs and C-Suite Executives for BoF partnerships.
  5. Moderating roundtable discussions and panels at both standalone and flagship events.
  6. Supporting the Director of Content Strategy in creating strategies to achieve business goals.

Who you are:

  1. You are a creative strategist or journalist with experience in commercial partnerships.
  2. You have the creative flair and strategic ability to concept and guide the creation of market-leading content across written articles, live presentations, reports, audio, and video, and can balance data-driven decisions with creative thinking.
  3. You are a confident public speaker, with an impressive understanding of the commercial operations of the fashion and luxury industries and the market forces that affect them most, including sustainability, technology, and consumer behaviour.
  4. You are comfortable working on multiple projects at once and demonstrate outstanding communication skills with the ability to work confidently with all levels of the business.
