Overview
The Content Group is a unique and specialized team inside the larger Spark Foundry media agency. We are powered by people with an unwavering passion and vision for combining all forms of content to develop and produce brand-inspired experiences that flow seamlessly across touch points and screens. From television and movies to social, mobile, gaming, and events, we weave storylines together to create fresh and modern content for brands and consumers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee branded content programs from brief to execution.
- Participate in the development, execution, and stewardship/project management of publishing plans (print + digital + content).
- Understand all phases of the clients’ marketing objectives and provide media recommendations to deliver against these objectives.
- Participate in ideation sessions and brief partners on what is required of them to fulfill brand objectives in the content space.
- Demonstrate initiative by researching and identifying valuable information/insights to improve media product.
- Work closely with partner agencies and brand team to ensure content programs are in line with overarching strategies.
- Project manage programs from proposal stage through end date, including: concept development, asset negotiation, asset production and brand approval, reporting and optimizations.
- Participate in negotiations, including but not limited to: evaluating RFPs, spending trends, rate contracts, and program details across print, newspaper, digital, mobile, tablet, and integrated programs.
- Meet with vendors to stay on top of marketplace and cultivate relationships within the vendor community.
- Understand all proprietary research tools/processes and apply learnings during planning process.
- Prepare and present plans as needed, including: objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials.
- Develop collaborative, working relationships with strategy teams.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in marketing or advertising.
- Detail oriented and able to creatively assess concepts and assets to ensure it is brand safe, aligned with the brand equity, and within creative guidelines.
- Creative, passionate about the industry with a strong desire to do good work and bring forth new and innovative thinking.
- Collaborative, a true team player that will work well collaborating with internal and external teams.
- Excellent understanding of media fundamentals.
- Demonstrates ability to tell stories through data, presentations, and verbal communication.

Compensation Range: $53,200 - $77,280 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
