Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager with a proven track record of success project managing and developing product collateral, technical thought leadership, and associated materials in the martech/adtech industry.
- The Content Marketing Manager will join the Corporate Marketing team as a key member and will work closely with product marketing and our CRM and programmatic sales teams to identify product collateral and positioning needs aimed at our target customers.
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Content Marketing, this role will also be responsible for writing product-oriented thought leadership content that supports our platform differentiators and addresses specific sales motions throughout the engagement funnel.
- Brainstorm and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create original content that engages target customers, connecting them with our vision and product positioning.
- Develop and create content for projects including but not limited to: brochures and product sheets, sales tools, blog articles, videos/demos, ebooks and whitepapers, website copy, and other materials that encourage prospects to take specific action.
- Deliver content supporting programs with high engagement and conversion rates.
- Create content for key deliverables based on sales requirements and campaign needs.
- Revise, edit and optimize content as needed.
- Partner with product marketing management and business leaders to distill key value propositions, functionality, and benefits into external messages.
- Review and edit customer-facing documents to ensure consistency of product positioning across Marketing, Sales, and other Zeta departments.
- Be an expert on buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria.
- Be able to cater messaging to various personas and competitive scenarios.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content in marketing communications through rigorous quality control, proofing, and data checking.
- Maintain content calendar and provide guidance on how to prioritize competing projects, create trackers and project schedules/management.
Qualifications
- An understanding of data-driven marketing and advertising technology will be important to the candidate’s success.
- 5+ years of marketing experience in product or content marketing related roles.
- Experience managing and coordinating a team of contractors and freelancers.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual skills, with an ability to personally create high-quality messaging and content.
- Experience working with product marketing teams and understanding of product segmentation and persona targeting.
- Proactive self-starter who can thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable working directly with senior leaders and product management.
- Ability to grasp technical capabilities and translate them into benefits.
- Proven track record of prioritizing high impact activities and keeping complicated projects moving forward, working across cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality are essential.
- Self-starter that isn’t afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get things done.
- Passion for analyzing products, customers, and market dynamics.
Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00, depending on location and experience.
