Sales Training Content Developer

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Design, develop, and update engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, videos, instructional guides, and multimedia content.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
3. Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and objectives.
4. Utilize instructional design principles to create effective and interactive learning experiences, adaptable for all learning styles and considering accessibility.
5. Evaluate and revise training materials based on feedback and performance metrics.
6. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
7. Develop storyboards based on needs assessments and gain alignment with stakeholders on relevance and accuracy of content.
8. Develop and manage learning development projects in terms of time, budget, and resources.
9. Establish learning measurement tools that help to define achievement of learning KPIs.
10. Establish a content maintenance plan to ensure materials stay relevant and are updated when there are identified changes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
2. 2-5 years of experience in training content development or instructional design.
3. Experience in the electrical and/or utility industry is a plus.
4. Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia or similar) and Cornerstone Learning Management System.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to manage time effectively and stay focused in an environment with changing priorities.
7. Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
