Miss Daisy is hiring: Lead Floral Designer and Creative Director in Las Vegas

HIRING: LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Miss Daisy is seeking an experienced and talented Lead Floral Designer in Las Vegas. The role includes handling major floral design, collaboration with our shop manager, flower buying, flower designing, and teamwork with warehouse staff. The floral designer must be able to create and design high-end arrangements, including all aspects of bridal and funeral work, floral arches, flower walls, and silk installations. A focus on large volume production and copying skills is required, including the ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and consistency. Candidates must have the ability to read proposals, build recipes, and execute a diversity of designs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lead Floral Designer and Studio Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations in our Las Vegas studio. Responsibilities will include floral design, delivery logistics, purchasing, processing, customer service, and warehouse management. The opportunity provides a unique blend of autonomy with the support of a team and will require self-motivation, accountability, and drive. The role will focus on gift deliveries, corporate events, custom design, high-end design, and customer service.

ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Extremely self-motivated
• Experience with hand-tied bouquet design
• Proven history of multi-tasking
• Knowledge of floral varieties and care, including processing
• Team-minded with a positive attitude
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Organized

Experience:

• Retail sales: 2-3 years (REQUIRED)
• Floral Arranging: 3-5 years (REQUIRED) - MUST HAVE WEDDING, FLOWER ARCH, FLOWER WALL, AND FUNERAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE
• MUST BE ABLE TO BE ON YOUR FEET FOR 7-8 HOUR SHIFTS AND LIFT UP TO 30 LBS.
• SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. WE ARE NOT A FLOWER SCHOOL AND ARE NOT LOOKING TO TRAIN FOR THIS ROLE.

Work Location: In store and Offsite

Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work for offsite designing when applicable. Must be flexible with work on select holidays, weekends, and out of office hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
