We are seeking an experienced SEO Content Creator with extensive knowledge of the renewable energy sector to join our growing marketing team. This individual will play a key role in creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our website and newsletter. The primary focus will be writing articles based on insights from ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) and PJM (Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland) meetings, ensuring alignment with industry trends and company objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth articles, summaries, and reports from ERCOT and PJM meetings to inform the company’s newsletter and blog.
- Compose articles with a focus on primary keywords to improve search engine rankings, ensuring content aligns with the company’s SEO strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest renewable energy developments, including regulatory changes, market shifts, and technological innovations, to inform content.
- Work closely with the marketing team, providing copy for website updates, promotional materials, and campaigns as needed.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Track content performance and optimize future articles based on insights from SEO metrics and engagement data.
Requirements
- 5 years of copywriting experience, with at least 3 years focused on the renewable energy industry, particularly covering topics related to energy markets, grid management, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ERCOT and PJM).
- Exceptional ability to distill complex energy industry concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content for a variety of audiences.
- Proven track record of writing SEO-friendly content that drives traffic and improves search rankings.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all written materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different formats (blog posts, newsletters, etc.).
- Proficient in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Travel is expected to be approximately up to 10% of the time.
