We are a fast-growing contract furniture company that is looking for a Social Media Content Creator/Digital Media Strategist responsible for planning, creating, scheduling, and delivering multimedia content to our existing social media platforms, newsletter subscribers, blog, and affiliate publishers/partners. This position will work directly with the Marketing and Graphics department to create business-specific and industry-related content. Your goal will be to enhance and expand our social media presence, build newsletter and blog subscribers, and grow our affiliate marketing base. This person must be self-motivated and creative to join our team. This person must have strong writing skills and an understanding of social media platforms with best practices.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We are now hiring for the position of a Social Media Content Creator/Digital Media Strategist.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies to enhance online presence and drive sales.
• Conduct SEO research and apply best practices to improve search engine rankings.
• Manage advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads and social media channels.
• Create engaging content that resonates with target audiences, including product descriptions, blog posts, and promotional materials.
• Monitor website performance using analytics tools; analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Optimize conversion rates through A/B testing and user experience enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Sign new affiliate marketers through CJ Associates.
• Compose articles for our Blog.
• Email and Social Media Marketing.

Duties

• Develop digital media content, including still images, captions, and short-form video content focusing on predetermined marketing campaigns, product spotlights, industry trends, and promotional events such as holiday sales and discounts.
• Create, schedule, and deliver monthly digital newsletter campaigns utilizing our CRM.
• Outline, compose, and deliver a monthly blog article on a predetermined topic to be published on our website. These must be written without the aid of AI and consist of 500 to 750 words per article.
• Identify, recruit, and communicate with new and existing affiliate publishers and partners to help build upon our affiliate network.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports demonstrating the effectiveness of your work and strategies to refine and improve our digital media presence.

Requirements

A qualified candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of Digital Marketing & Business Development experience, including content creation, B2B marketing, and familiarity with commonly used software such as spreadsheet and word processing, graphic and basic video editing, as well as WordPress and some basic CRM knowledge. Familiarity with best practices of the most popular social media platforms is a must. Most importantly, you MUST be able to outline and compose blog and advertising copy without the aid of AI. You must be well-versed in the AP Style of composition, have a collegiate-level understanding of grammar and punctuation rules, and the ability to cite your work.

This is a full-time, on-site position. In order to be successful as a Social Media Content Creator/Digital Media Strategist for SKUTCHI Designs, you must possess these qualifications:

• Must have the ability to delve into the commercial office furniture industry and identify existing and emerging trends and topics of interest.
• Capacity to learn our product lines, their selling points, and our client demographics/audience.
• Possess a desire to contribute to the success of the company with your talents, skillset, and knowledge.
• Ability to use the Internet as a research and business development tool.
• Be able to plan for your day, keep a schedule, be punctual and on-time, and be ready to work.
• Must be able to work without distractions such as mobile devices, personal relationships, family concerns, etc.
