Social Media Content Creator with German
Bookboot is an online secondhand bookstore, through which more than 200,000 secondhand books are monthly sold. We are currently the 10th fastest-growing tech startup in CEE, operating in 4 markets (CZ, SK, AT, and DE) and have become a lovebrand to our customers. Last year we had a turnover of over EUR 12 million, 63% more than the previous year. We are currently establishing ourselves in Germany and Austria. We are looking for a Berlin-based part-time Social Media Content Creator for our German-speaking social accounts with a love for books and the circular economy.
Your Role
- Local content creation for Bookbot Instagram DE/AT, Facebook DE/AT, and other platforms if necessary.
- The content creation includes brainstorming ideas, shooting content (preferably with a willingness to be present in the content some of the time), cutting and producing content, recording voiceovers, writing captions, and uploading content.
- Availability to regularly visit our partner bookstores in and around Berlin to create content (some of them are located as far as Eichwalde and Falkensee, but they are all reachable with public transportation).
- Strong collaboration with our teams in Prague, especially on content calendar conception (Social Media & Influencer Management team) and community management (Customer Support team).
About You
- You have 15-20 hours/week and can be flexible with responding to our customers during the week.
- You are interested in social media and community building.
- You are fluent in German and able to communicate in English.
- You have an iPhone 13 to shoot and produce content with.
- You have the opportunity to have an impact on book sustainability in Germany and Austria.
- You will receive better prices for our books and a better rate for selling your books on Bookbot.
- Salary of 14 EUR per hour.
