Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence (analysts, CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, etc.). Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Senior Editor for a position in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide a full range of support in the production and dissemination of finished products, specifically, working with analytic customers (authors).
2. Conduct final reviews of text, graphics, and other formats for intelligence products.
3. Formulate simple queries for relevant databases and produce publications in accordance with standards.
4. Possess professional-level expertise with electronic publishing applications - Microsoft Office Suite, QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, Acrobat; structured authoring software - SGML, XML, and HTML.

Requirements:

1. Current/Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
2. At least 10 years of editing experience along with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Journalism or English OR at least 15 years of editing experience without the specified degree.
3. Working knowledge with electronic publishing software such as Adobe InDesign and FrameMaker.
4. Working knowledge with structured authoring software (SGML, XML, and HTML) and expert ability to format documents using such software.
5. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent writing skills.
7. Demonstrated proficiency with the following applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook.
8. Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies.
9. Must be willing to take an editor exam (provided by NGA) to assess current capabilities to perform the required tasks of the position.
