Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator/Event Planner will be responsible for organizing and executing marketing campaigns and events that drive brand awareness and customer engagement. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing marketing materials, and ensuring successful execution of marketing strategies and events.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute company events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site event setup.
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective planning and execution.
- Develop event programs, schedules, and promotional materials.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media).
- Coordinate with graphic designers, content creators, and other team members to produce marketing collateral.
- Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and update the marketing calendar.
- Organize and manage marketing materials and inventory.
- Assist with market research and competitor analysis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Event Planner, or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software (e.g., CRM, email marketing tools).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on evenings or weekends as needed for events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the construction or home improvement industry.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
