Petit Clair is a Leading Children Clothing Brand

As the Fashion Designer, you will work very closely with Petit Clair's design and product team. You will assist in managing and keeping track of the product cycle of all styles each season, including design, development, and production, in addition to other design-focused projects.

Responsibilities

1. Creating sketches & color cads
2. Creating initial tech pack
3. Keeping track of all incoming/outgoing design samples
4. Manage fabric books used throughout the cycle of each season
5. Creating mood boards with each season's styles, fabrics, and trims
6. Prep design meetings by selecting and preparing necessary materials and styles that will be reviewed and discussed

Requirements

1. 2+ years of designer or merchandising experience
2. Can create your own styles according to the brand's aesthetic
3. Super organized
4. Know how to measure garments
5. Have a great eye for fashion and color
6. Great communication skills
7. Efficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
