Responsible for any designs related to the center, starting with the center’s logo and ending with any advertising designs on the various platforms. The graphic designer must be familiar with the centre’s design guide, which specifies specific standards or rules during the preparation of designs, such as adherence to specific colors or a specific writing method. The graphic designer is always concerned with following up on these works from the stage of collecting ideas for the new design until publishing the design and making sure once again that there are no errors in the design that could lead to adverse results. You are responsible for the design and artistic production of the center’s publications and various papers in Arabic and English.
Mission:
- Preparing the final form of the center’s publications, various papers, and electronic content, in Arabic and English, in coordination with the editorial department and center management.
- Preparing suitable covers for the Centre’s publications and various papers, both printed and electronic.
- Preparing tables, graphs, illustrations, and infographics to be included in the center’s publications or to be published on the center’s website.
- Producing animated graphics, videos, printed materials, and interactive materials for use on the center’s website.
- Continuous development of the form of the center’s publications and its paper and electronic outputs.
- Follow up on the work related to printing the Center’s publications and materials at printing houses.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using design programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Windows Office programs, specifically Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
- Mastering image handling skills, and knowledge of image processing and production applications.
- Mastering the skills of dealing with tables, graphs, illustrations, and infographics.
- Good knowledge of Arabic and English.
- The ability to develop original designs that reflect the center’s personality in publications and on the website.
- The ability to design brochures, pictorial and interactive materials, promotional campaigns, and electronic links.
- The ability to follow developments related to design techniques and artistic direction.
- The ability to work under pressure, determine work priorities, and finish work on time.
- Possessing communication and cooperation skills with others.
- The ability to continuously develop the tools and programs used and keep pace with developments in creative ideas.
Qualifications:
- Accredited bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design or its equivalent in a similar specialty.
- Having previous experience (3-5 years) in the same position in study centers, specialized magazines, or visual or print media.
