The University of Tulsa is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join the Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications team. This role will focus on creating high-quality print materials, including magazine layouts and direct mail pieces, as well as digital assets for our online platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce a variety of print materials such as magazines, brochures, flyers, and direct mail pieces.
- Create compelling digital assets for website, social media, email campaigns, and other online platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and campus partners to develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Proven experience in print and digital design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and ability to handle a variety of design styles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in magazine layout design and direct mail pieces.
- Knowledge of digital design best practices, including responsive design and email design.
- Familiarity with web design and basic HTML / CSS is a plus.
Physical Demands: Sitting for extended periods of time. May need to lift boxes of materials.
