Qualifications

  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative
  • Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for graphics and fonts; strong ability to sketch
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Design or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in graphic design; significant relevant experience in category
  • Experience with packaging required
  • Highly proficient in Adobe products and Mac computers; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • As a designer for Centric Brands, you’ll use your skills and creativity to create designs based on style plans, sales needs and emerging trends
  • You will also ensure that your work can be transformed into a finished product in a timely manner and at an appropriate price point
  • This means working not only with our technical design and production teams, but also building collaborative relationships with outside vendors and other external stakeholders
  • The Designer supports the Design Team and collaboratively manages the graphics component of the seasonal design development process by coordinating on the creation, executing the layout and providing input on the production of original, trend-appropriate graphics concepts for all design needs, logos, illustrations, product and packaging
  • Develop graphic aesthetic for bath and beauty products, product packaging, merchandising vehicles and presentations
  • Select colors, images, text style and layout to portray the design message
  • Incorporate type with body copy and illustrations
  • Partner with PD to present out of the box concepts to enhance creative
  • Ensure designs are error free and correct any errors prior to print or publishing to PD and or PLM
  • Time manage all design projects including scheduling reviews to ensure important deadlines are met
  • Review open on order and open not order reports
  • Prioritize work with team members & team lead
  • Take on additional design projects as needed, including but not limited to: products photography, mock-ups
  • Maintain and elevate brand aesthetic across all touch-points and all graphic design tools

  • Salary Range: $77,000-85,000
  • Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
