Mitutoyo America Corporation is hiring: Graphic Designer in Aurora

We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This position involves creating visual concepts to convey ideas that provoke, inform, and captivate our targeted audiences. Working closely with marketing management, you will be instrumental in executing diverse design projects, spanning from our extensive company catalog to digital initiatives and event graphics. This is an in-office position that requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional time management skills, and attentiveness to project specifications.

What You'll Do:

1. Conceptualization and Design: Develop and execute visual concepts in line with project objectives for a variety of platforms including print, digital, and multimedia.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, management, and internal teams to fully understand project requirements and effectively present design concepts.
3. Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are in line with our brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent image across various platforms.
4. Typography and Layout: Utilize your skills in selecting appropriate fonts, colors, and layouts for each design project.
5. Multimedia Design: Engage in creating designs for various mediums like digital, web, social media, and more. Experience in 3D design and HTML 5 (Tumult Hype) is a plus.
6. Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple design projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and delivery of high-quality work.
7. Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate them into your work where appropriate.
8. File Management: Organize and maintain all design-related files, directing visual shoots as needed.
9. Proofreading: Ensure accuracy in all design projects, collaborating with content and editorial specialists as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of 3D design and HTML 5 design (Tumult Hype) is advantageous.
• A portfolio submission is highly regarded.

Projects Include:

• Designing a comprehensive company catalog.
• Creating brochures, promotional materials, and event graphics.
• Developing website graphics, digital ads, infographics, social media designs, and video graphics.

Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. Bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling are required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is an in-person, full-time position. Monday – Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
