Clear-Com is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. You will be responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning designs across various platforms. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role will be hybrid, based out of Alameda, CA or Carlsbad, CA.
What you will do in this position:
- Lead the design process from concept to completion for various projects, including digital and print media.
- Conform to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communications.
- Facilitate visual brand guideline discussions to ensure ongoing evolution & conformance to our changing business vision.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to create engaging and effective design solutions.
- Maintain high attention to detail across design principles and written copy.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Create and assist in the development of branding and marketing materials, including logos, artwork for websites, brochures, print/digital ads, sales/marketing collateral, digital communications, tradeshow graphics, social media graphics, PowerPoint, and other design projects as needed.
- Design, edit, and produce video/digital marketing materials, including b-roll video footage, still picture montages/reels, and social media reels/gifs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work, sharing new insights with relevant team members.
- Provide constructive feedback and support during the design review process.
- Experience with project management.
- Final Cut Pro Studio experience is a plus.
What you need to succeed in this position:
- 3+ years of related Graphic Design experience required.
- AA Degree (2 years college) in Graphic Design, Arts, or related field required; BA/BS preferred.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of technical, computer-graphic skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively.
- Experience in both digital and print design.
- Creativity and artistic skills with talent and experience in creating unique and practical design elements that are also effective.
- Experience with and expertise in creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience with design for effective email marketing communications.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles.
- Experience in multimedia production, motion graphics, and video editing software.
- Final Cut Pro Studio experience is a plus.
Pay Range: $27.78 - $37.01 per hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation in your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
