Job Description

Otsy is seeking a talented Graphic Artist to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll design a wide variety of digital and print materials, ensuring every project aligns with our brand's vision. You'll select color palettes, typography & fonts, images, and layouts while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines. Collaborating with the team, you’ll help create innovative and visually compelling graphics that express Otsy’s creative direction within brand guidelines. You’ll also manage multiple design projects, provide design optimizations, and conduct quality assurance to ensure error-free, impactful visuals. Your ability to incorporate feedback and adjust designs will be key to delivering messaging that resonates across all platforms.

Problems You Will Solve

  • Visual Storytelling: Design compelling visual content that communicates Otsy’s brand message across digital and print mediums, ensuring our designs are clear, creative, and engaging for our diverse audience.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all design projects by working within Otsy’s brand guidelines, ensuring that every piece of content—whether it's a social media post, website graphic, or marketing material—reflects our values and mission.
  • Creative Solutions: Work with the team to conceptualize and develop new and innovative ways to express Otsy’s message through visuals, bringing fresh ideas to the table while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, content, and product teams to create designs that align with company goals and resonate with target audiences, ensuring cross-department alignment and creative synergy.
  • Design Optimization: Continuously improve design elements based on performance feedback, testing new concepts and optimizing design to better serve user engagement and branding objectives.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high standards of design quality by conducting thorough QA checks, identifying and correcting any design errors, and implementing changes based on feedback.
  • Efficiency & Timeliness: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while ensuring each design is executed at the highest quality within budget constraints.
  • UI/UX Design Expertise: Experience in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces with a deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles. You know how to create visually appealing, functional, and seamless designs that enhance the user journey across digital platforms.
  • Prototyping & Wireframing: Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar to build prototypes and wireframes that communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Responsive Design: Ability to create designs that adapt beautifully across various devices and screen sizes, ensuring a smooth and cohesive user experience.
  • Adaptability: Stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies, adapting quickly to changes in the industry and incorporating new techniques and tools to enhance Otsy’s design strategy.

All About You

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative field.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects in both digital and print media.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and experience with 3D animation tools.
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to articulate design concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for color, typography, and visual composition, ensuring brand consistency across all projects.
  • You are a creative problem solver with strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to inform design decisions.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus, along with an understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You’re well-versed in graphic fundamentals, layout techniques, and the latest design trends, and you’re passionate about staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and ready to contribute to a team that thrives on creativity, innovation, and a relentless drive for success.
