Bourne Group specializes in Design, Manufacturing and Installation of Interior products and signage for both the Cruise Industry as well as land based developments.
We are seeking an experienced environmental graphic designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating graphics, signage, and wayfinding systems for indoor and outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and experience in environmental graphic design.
The incumbent Graphic Designer will become a part of our team as a critical addition to our work force, in the designing and building of highly complicated and customized signage. An aptitude for attention to detail as well as a willingness to work hard and work well with others will help benefit the candidates long term growth here at Bourne Group. Candidate should be comfortable with traveling internationally as part of the responsibility of this new role.

Key Responsibilities:
Function as the assigned gatekeeper of your client, ensuring deadlines are met, approvals are met and estimates are prioritized as well as necessary
- Work with clients to understand their branding and messaging needs for a particular environment.
- Design and create graphics, signage, and wayfinding systems that are visually appealing, functional, and easy to understand.
- Collaborate with other members of the design team to ensure that all designs are consistent with the client's branding guidelines.
- Work with production teams to ensure that all designs are manufactured and installed correctly.
- Conduct on-site visits to review existing environments and assess design needs for new environments when applicable.
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies to ensure that all designs are cutting-edge and innovative
- Maintain a high level of quality control, ensuring that all designs meet client expectations and are completed on-time and within budget and drawings are sufficient for production use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Knowledge of design principles, color theory, typography, and branding
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and clients
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Knowledge of environmental graphics materials and manufacturing processes
