About the Position

The goal of our Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator is to develop and implement creative strategies to promote the Club’s events, services, and amenities, as well as brand awareness. Working with the Director of Communications & Marketing, our Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, to deliver marketing, branding, and communication strategies. Daily, this position is required to produce digital and print creative solutions to address our marketing needs, execute marketing projects from conception to production, including videos, Club website, brochures, newsletters, and other collateral. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with the full Adobe Creative Cloud, along with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. A complex understanding of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques is essential. The Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and must also be able to meet tight deadlines.

The position reports to the Director of Communications & Marketing.

About You

You are an exceptionally outgoing and personable professional with a background in private clubs and hospitality. You can multi-task and effectively communicate with all types of groups, from team members to our Board Members. You are a strategic thinker and connector, able to work well under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks, solve problems and you are an effective communicator.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement creative strategies for brand awareness and exposure, as well as promotion of Club events, services, and amenities.
  2. Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the leadership team.
  3. Design and execute the creation of new collateral and digital resources.
  4. Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery, creating original pieces, including illustrations and infographics.
  5. Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise services and amenities.
  6. Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing and communication projects.
  7. Stay up to date with industry developments and tools.
  8. Assist the Director with the Club’s marketing and communication projects.
  9. Manage the use of social media channels, engagement, analytics, ads, etc.
  10. Create, update, and maintain visually appealing collateral.
  11. Identify new opportunities and efficiency innovations.
  12. Work with all departments of the Club, and vendors, to create effective communication materials.
  13. Continue education through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team.
  14. Observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly to ensure a safe workplace for our team.
  15. All other duties as assigned by management and Board of Directors.

Education /Experience

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Marketing, or relevant field.

2+ years prior work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.

Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.

Experience with image editing software e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.
