Responsibilities:

  1. Translate strategic direction into high-quality designs within an established brand identity
  2. Create innovative and attractive PowerPoint presentations, interactive PDFs, and website design support
  3. Display strong organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  4. Collaborate and brainstorm with other like-minded creatives and stakeholders
  5. Demonstrate consistent quality and proof work prior to submitting
  6. Work as a team player and independently, selecting the best course of action under tight deadlines
  7. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to creative team leadership
  8. Professionally communicate with external partners, vendors, printers and colleagues as needed
  9. Show strong skills in manipulating photography to create realistic photo mockups of existing spaces
  10. Proficient use of Dropbox, and ability to maintain digital files according to set guidelines and file naming conventions
  11. Amend designs based on constructive criticism

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree is required, in graphic design or related field
  2. Must live in the Charlotte area and be based in the corporate office
  3. Must provide a strong portfolio of work examples, preferably in digital format
  4. 2-3+ years of experience working in a design firm or in a creative team environment is preferred
  5. Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color theory and composition
  6. Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  7. Premier Pro and After Effects are a plus
  8. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  9. Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and photography is a plus
  10. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  11. Display effective problem-solving skills and appropriate use of design programs for specific tasks
  12. A keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail
  13. Views feedback positively to elevate their designs and improve their skill
  14. Self-driven, proactive and a positive attitude
  15. Takes pride in their work and has a passion for design
