This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division.

This is an UNPAID internship through the DoD SkillBridge Program for transitioning active-duty US military personnel. The intern will actively train on meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior company leadership.

Objective
The SkillBridge intern will train as a JIOC-K Graphic Designer within HII-Mission Technologies, reporting to a designated HII Supervisor.

Desired End State (3-4 month target)

  • At the end of three months, the intern gains proficiency in graphic software and Illustration tools.
  • The intern will re-emphasize the importance of quality control and the ability to enhance and visually convey analytic assessments.
  • Mission Technologies will benefit from the military background of the SkillBridge intern.

Assumptions/Restrictions

  • If candidate is selected and approved, SkillBridge Intern can travel in conjunction with this internship.
  • SkillBridge Intern will be available during core hours (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) for critical meetings and training.

Program of Instruction

Training Location: Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, KOR, Korea, Republic of

Training Plan

  • Week 1-2: Introduction and Orientation
  • Week 3-4: Graphic Software Proficiency
  • Week 5-6: Collaboration and Enhancement
  • Week 9-10: Monitoring and Coordination
  • Week 11: Integration and Final Projects
  • Week 12: Evaluation and Certification

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must currently possess a TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly
  • 4 years of Military Intelligence related experience, including briefing, presentation production, and intelligence cycle support to Senior Leadership.
  • Extensive Graphic illustration, PowerPoint, Adobe, and presentation skills required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s with 8 years of experience preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in creating graphics to illustrate intelligence findings.
  • Experience using PowerPoint, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite of software.

Physical Requirements

  • Will be required to work in an office/SCIF environment.
  • May be required to travel during this internship.
