Job Description

Sussex County Community College currently has a position opening for an adjunct instructor to teach Graphic Design courses in Advertising and Packaging Design, Typography and Layout, Presentation and Print Production among others on our Newton campus starting in January 2023.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Fine Art with a specialization in Graphic Design or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered if currently enrolled in a Master’s program in a relevant field.
• Two years teaching experience is preferred (especially at the collegiate level).
• Experience teaching college level Advertising and Packaging Design, Typography and Layout, Presentation and Print Production and other Graphic Design classes is greatly preferred.
• Computer/technological and computer aided design skills are required.
• Apple and MS Surface Studio proficiency are required.
• Ability to teach UX/UI and animation is a plus.
