Overview: The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in the creative development and execution of design projects that align with the company’s brand and marketing objectives. This individual is responsible for creating high-quality designs, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring junior designers to maintain excellence across all visual communications. You'll collaborate with internal marketing teams and designers to conceptualize and deliver designs that will enhance our new refreshed brand identity.
We are looking for a strategic thinker who understands how individual projects contribute to broader objectives, ensuring creative outputs can be leveraged across multiple divisions and initiatives.
General Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and visually engaging design solutions for a range of projects, including proposals, campaigns, branding initiatives, social media, and various digital/print materials.
- Collaborate with marketers and project managers to understand project objectives and deliver designs that meet client and company needs.
- Develop visual concepts and designs that align with company brand standards and messaging.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to keep the company’s creative output competitive and modern.
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to junior designers to foster professional growth and maintain design consistency.
- Take ownership of design projects, managing them from concept to final delivery with quality and consistency.
- Design templates and tools that improve team efficiency and scalability.
- Recommend enhancements to design processes, tools, and materials for continuous improvement.
- Think strategically to align individual design projects with broader company goals and ensure assets can support multiple divisions and initiatives.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field from an accredited institution.
Required Experience:
- 5-10 years of professional design experience, preferably in corporate or agency environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital, print, and web design, emphasizing branding and conceptual thinking.
- Advanced proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe InDesign, specifically working on multipage layouts, such as proposals, editorial work, or catalogs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
- Deep understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to see how projects interconnect and align with broader business strategies.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- High level of creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop creative design work across various mediums.
- Video and animation skills are a plus.
