Corrugated Structural/Graphics Designer - Ocala, FL Job at Pratt Industries, Inc

SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting in the creation of design of structural box samples to assist in the sales of packaging.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Formulate and communicate ideas for new accounts or products, analyzing customer needs and production feasibility.
2. Accompany Sales Representatives to present new products or designs to customers or prospects.
3. Review accounts and make recommendations for updates on style, board weight, new developments, etc.
4. Analyze changes in the industry and research innovations in equipment that can be adapted to company operations.
5. Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
6. Comply with company policies and procedures.
7. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1. Good communicator with customers and sales staff.
2. Experience with bank build, corrugated returnables, and service parts a plus.
3. Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
4. Supervisory experience as a proven manager.
5. Experience in a production/manufacturing facility, especially in the corrugated industry.
6. Schooling or training in design.
