Develop and drive the Entertainment + Influencer Marketing offense for Tommy Hilfiger, Americas. Lead the development of the function and integration into the marketing organization to drive cultural relevance and energy for the brand.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional vision and strategy to position the brand and its products as premium and aspirational to deliver on brand and business objectives.
- Define Talent / Brand partnership filters in collaboration with Regional Mktg Leadership team to identify the right partners for the Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans brand, initiatives and launches.
- Work with cross functional with marketing and business partners to identify key initiatives, moments and opportunities to connect with the most influential communities.
Talent Relations
- Identify, connect and build mutually beneficial relationships with the entertainment and influencer communities
- Nurture and build a vast network within the world of Music, Film, TV, Celebrity, Fashion, Art and Design
- Be in the know and ahead of the organization as it relates to all things pop culture – be able to identify and bring partnership opportunities that connect to our consumer un new and unexpected ways
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, serve and integrate talent and brand partners to fuel brand relevance. Work in close partnership with Global/Regional Mktg leadership, PR/Comms and Principal Designer to strategically build holistic and fully integrated plans to connect with consumers
- Lead execution of contract negotiations and management of contracted partners
Product Seeding + Placement
- Develop an operationally sound and efficient product seeding offense. Ensure access to the best of Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans ahead of launch
- Identify individuals, collectives and opportunities for cut through product placement to amplify the brand, initiatives and launches
Qualifications:
- College degree, preferably in Marketing; advanced degree, a plus
- 12-15 years of experience in Brand, Entertainment + Influencer or Culture Marketing
- Experience in fashion, luxury, beauty, sports, FMCG industry is preferred
- Great relationships within entertainment + influencer communities, i.e. talent, management, publicists and representation including agencies
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with contract creation, negotiation and execution
- Ability to operate in highly ambiguous and complex matrixed environments
- Ability to think strategically and implement tactically
- Flexibility to adapt to everchanging business priorities and changes
- Proactive and action-oriented
- Driven by innovation
- Lead all contract negotiations
This position has a very high degree of decision-making responsibilities. Creative making decisions for North American channel in close partnership with global and articulating needs to global based on business priorities
This position requires a high degree of creativity. Detail oriented/innovative traits required. Elevated design aesthetic and ability to translate TH brand aesthetic across multiple channels
Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities
Ability to travel; valid passport required
