Salary: $4,858 to $5,918 per month (SR-20, Step D to I)
Shift Work: Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
As a fully competent professional librarian, perform the full range of professional services in a service or functional area; generally serve as the librarian responsible for providing the full range of professional services within a particular service area; catalog and classify materials presenting the full range of cataloging problems; and perform other related duties as assigned.
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Education: A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
Professional Librarian Experience: One and one-half years of progressively responsible professional experience in one or more major functional areas of librarianship.
Master's Degree in Library Science: A master's degree in Library Science from an accredited college or university will be deemed to have met all the education and experience requirements for Librarian III.
Note: Applicants who are in their last semester and will graduate, and will meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements upon their graduation will be accepted for examination.
If you are in the last semester and graduating with a Master of Library Science degree, please submit a copy of your official transcript of coursework completed thus far and a letter from your department head or registrar verifying your current enrollment in school, your expected graduation date and major with your application.

The examination for this recruitment will be conducted on an unassembled basis where the examination score is based on an evaluation and rating of your education and experience.
