Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates a love of reading and embraces the world of information.
- Remain knowledgeable about books, authors, and new literacy materials and reading instruction.
- Instruct students in the skills necessary to think critically about information and to communicate new learning in a variety of formats.
- Collaborate with others, serving as a change agent and leader, to create a foundation for students to be effective users of ideas and information to ensure independent lifelong learning.
- Understand and use various technology platforms to enhance student learning.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Collaborative: Willing to work with teachers, students, parents, and administration as a team player.
- Cooperative: Willing to support the mission and vision of the school.
- Technological: Willing to assist staff and students with various technology needs.
- Analytical: Able to interpret and use data to impact instruction.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Education, Nebraska certified, and have an endorsement in Library/Media (or be willing to work toward endorsement).
- Safe Environment Trained.
- Support the Catholic faith.

This position can start as a long-term sub beginning in March 2025. A teaching contract for the 2025-2026 school year will be extended if the experience is positive for the teacher and the school.
