We’re looking for a Media Planner with 1-3 years of experience to support the Media Director in translating client business objectives into innovative and effective strategic media plans. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience planning digital media across platforms like Paid Search (AdWords & Bing), Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest), YouTube, and/or Programmatic. Hands-on experience managing campaigns in platform is a plus but not required.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and stewardship of media plans across a variety of North American clients
  • Serve as liaison to agency investment teams: communicating channel planning details such as goals, budgets, tactics, and audiences
  • Support in planning research including competitive analysis, audience insights, media behaviors, and industry trends
  • Monitor campaign performance and make proactive recommendations
  • Participate in key client deliverables as requested

Department Operations:

  • Develop and maintain flowcharts and related documents (budget pacing, insertion orders, media authorizations, etc.)
  • Lead digital ad trafficking through Google Campaign Manager, including development of placement tags, assigning creative, and communicating with internal and external teams for implementation
  • Assist with media invoicing including billing reconciliations and actualizations
  • Collaborate with other agency departments such as creative, strategy, data, and account management as needed

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Support in QA of platform and vendor data
  • Collaborate with data and analytics prior, during, and after campaign launch to ensure proper tracking is implemented
  • Support in development of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance insights

What you should have:

  • At least 1+ year of experience in media planning (agency or client)
  • Understanding of basic media terms, tactics, and media math
  • Experience trafficking ads through Google Campaign Manager
  • Experience planning Meta, Paid Search, and/or Programmatic
  • Experience with media planning tools such as WARC, eMarketer, Nielsen, MRI Simmons, Helixa, etc.
  • Proficient in Excel
