About the role

We are on a mission to grow our brands’ online presence and cultivate engaged communities through creative, thoughtful, and impactful social media strategies.

As a Social Media Specialist, reporting directly to the Director of Content Marketing, you’ll partner with our marketing and content teams to bring our brands to life across all social media platforms. You’ll help manage and grow our communities, craft compelling content, and create innovative social campaigns that resonate with our audiences. This is an Austin-based position for someone with 1+ years of experience, a deep passion for social media, and a hunger to learn and grow.

What will you be doing?

  • Social Media Content Creation & Calendar Management:
    • Partner with content marketers to shape and execute a social media calendar aligned with our broader marketing initiatives.
    • Create custom, on-brand content using templates and tools.
    • Develop creative social media series that engage and excite our audience.
    • Maintain and update monthly editorial calendars.
  • Social Media Strategy:
    • Build a holistic social media strategy that aligns with company goals, focusing on brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
    • Analyze audience data and platform trends to determine which channels to prioritize for different products and campaigns.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and platform changes to refine and evolve the social media strategy.
  • Community Management:
    • Monitor and engage with our brand’s communities across platforms.
    • Actively participate in external communities to build brand awareness and connections.
    • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Track social media performance metrics to evaluate success.
    • Provide regular updates and insights on winning strategies and areas for improvement.
  • Campaign Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and performance marketing, to support social media campaigns.
    • Align social media efforts with larger brand goals and strategies.

What are we looking for?

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
  • A genuine love for social media and understanding of its potential to build brand communities.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for crafting engaging content.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using social media analytics tools to evaluate performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
