Beztak is seeking a Social Media Manager to join its Farmington Hills location. The ideal candidate will have communications, public relations, writing, content creation, marketing, and project management experience. The Social Media Manager will manage all social media and online reputation efforts for multiple communities, inclusive of market rate apartments and senior living, as well as providing support to Beztak corporate sites. In this role, you will be responsible for curating, creating, and editing engaging content for social media, creating content calendars, scheduling posts, managing social media advertising and marketing campaigns, monitoring our online reputation, running review campaigns, and responding to online reviews. You will work closely with our communities to solicit, curate, and generate content for social media posts. This may include attending events at the communities to capture photos and video.

This is a full-time, in-office position located at our Farmington Hills, Michigan office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be eager to contribute to our dynamic team on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and oversee all social media efforts across the company including corporate, community, and executive team member channels.
  • Refine and develop a social media strategy that will increase brand awareness and push our followers/customers through the sales funnel.
  • Act as a strategic counselor on social media to internal key stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Ownership teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day posting and content aggregation across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate and create video, photography, and graphic design assets.
  • Refine our existing KPI dashboards, develop thoughtful insights, and adapt the content strategy according to emerging trends.
  • Manage all social editorial calendars, support content planning workflows, uncover insights and develop recommendations to execute across the company’s social channels.
  • Work closely with the operations and fellow marketing team members to ensure key messaging and initiatives are incorporated into the social calendar.
  • Generate new ideas to engage and grow vibrant, healthy communities on our social channels.
  • Create and document best practices, social playbooks, and how-to’s for social & community management, including workflows, tools, and responsibilities.
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment across all levels of the organization while reflecting a level of independence to take initiative and move projects forward.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Beztak’s mission and business objectives, including increasing brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Independently create high-quality content, including written posts, graphics, photography, and video, tailored for each social media platform to tell compelling stories and engage our audience.
  • Oversee Beztak’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and others, ensuring consistency in messaging, brand voice and as well as responsiveness. Includes developing and executing social strategy around events throughout the year.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, leveraging data to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing, ensuring Beztak remains innovative and relevant.
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing, communication, and business development strategies.
  • Build and manage online communities, responding to comments and messages to foster relationships and enhance Beztak’s presence.
  • Attend events, meetings, and various on and off-site functions.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
  • Excel at promotion and engagement centered marketing through social media applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and project management abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of social media presence building and branding.
  • Minimum 2 years of digital marketing work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of social media account management experience.
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, and photography equipment.
  • Experience with social media management platforms.
  • Must be available on an as needed basis, which may include some evenings and weekends to capture content.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to complete projects on time without daily supervision.
  • A high degree of initiative and very detail oriented.
  • High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • High proficiency in all social media and content creation platforms including Canva, Adobe, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
