Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube. The role involves maintaining a cohesive brand presence, managing a marketing calendar, scheduling and posting content, and analyzing performance metrics through weekly and monthly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each platform (Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to align social media content with broader marketing initiatives.
- Content Creation & Scheduling:
- Plan, create, and curate engaging content (posts, videos, stories, reels, pins) for all platforms.
- Write compelling captions, hashtags, and calls-to-action optimized for each platform.
- Use scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, or Buffer) to ensure timely posting of content.
- Marketing Calendar Management:
- Develop and manage a social media content calendar that aligns with the overall marketing calendar.
- Coordinate campaigns, launches, and promotions to ensure seamless execution across platforms.
- Engagement & Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster an engaged community by encouraging meaningful conversations and interactions.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, click-through rates, follower growth, etc.).
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve strategy and performance.
- Trend Monitoring & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media tools.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube algorithms and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Later, Canva, Sprout Social) and basic photo/video editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking, reporting, and analyzing performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce or fashion/lifestyle brands.
- Familiarity with paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization.
