Freelance Motion Designer (15-20 hrs a week) - Abridge - New York, NY, USA

ABRIDGE

As a Motion Designer at Abridge, you’ll play a key role in visualizing complex ideas and bringing them to life through dynamic animations and video content. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to craft engaging content that communicates our brand, vision, and product to our users in creative and impactful ways.

This role is perfect for a designer who is passionate about storytelling through motion and animation and has a knack for distilling complex concepts into visually engaging content.

This is a part-time, 3-month hybrid contract role with the possibility of extension and/or conversion.

What you’ll do

1. Design and animate high-quality motion graphics to showcase our product and brand through compelling 2D animated assets for our website, social media, customer and educational videos, events, and more.
2. Produce compelling concepts and storyboards, owning the development process for motion graphics from concept to deliverable, creating designs and storyboards to bring the team’s vision to life through animation.
3. Collaborate across teams, working with the design and video team among other stakeholders to produce assets that elevate our brand.
4. Innovate and help develop our motion design principles, growing our visual language by building on our current style guide to include motion and ensuring a high level of polish and consistency throughout the brand.
