Position Overview: HCJB Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador is seeking a creative and detail-oriented multimedia specialist with a strong emphasis on video production. This role involves creating compelling multimedia content that engages our audience and enhances our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, along with proficiency in various multimedia tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.
2. Storyboarding and Scripting: Collaborate with the team to develop storyboards and scripts that align with our brand messaging and objectives.
3. Post-Production: Utilize video editing software to create polished final products, incorporating graphics, sound, and effects as needed.
4. Content Strategy: Work with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute multimedia campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
5. Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of multimedia assets, ensuring easy access for future projects.
6. Collaboration: Partner with graphic designers, photographers, and other creatives to ensure cohesive multimedia output.
7. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in video production and multimedia design.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Film Production, or a related field.
2. Experience in video production and editing.
3. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics (e.g., After Effects).
4. Strong understanding of multimedia storytelling and audience engagement strategies.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. A working knowledge of written and spoken Spanish is required. (Language school is available before assignment for full-time missionaries).
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Ability to raise your support and/or be self-funded.
